Tony Asaro, composer lyricist for Our Country which we just published in Plays and Playwrights 2010 tells us about his exciting week:
First, the WORLD PREMIERE of my oratorio “Such Beautiful Things” (composer Jeff Parola) is this sunday at 5:00 on the Upper West Side. The piece was commissioned by the Choral Chameleon (dir. Vince Peterson).

I will be on a Q&A panel from 5:30-6:30, then will be autographing books, then performances from each of the shows at 7:00. Justin Utley will be singing 2 songs from Our Country. We’re going last of course, because we’re the only musical.
